When taken together, honey and onions mixture is a very good remedy for sore throat pain. To prepare the mixture, you have to mix equal quantities of very finely chopped onion; honey and lemon juice and keep it aside for four to five hours. Once the mixture is well set, add three teaspoons of mixture to one cup of boiling water. To make this sore remedy for sore throat pain effective, it has to be drunk when hot. The concoction is very effective in relieving sore throat.
Ginger is an excellent remedy for sore throat pain
One of the best remedy for sore throat pain is ginger. It can be taken in different forms. Drinking the juice of fresh and tender ginger is great for the throat. However, if you find the taste very tangy, you can add one tablespoon of honey to it. Another way in which you can consume ginger to make it a good remedy for sore throat pain is to grind it into a paste, mix it with honey and eat the mixture. As the juice goes down, it soothes the throat. You can also drink a mixture of ginger, garlic and lemon juice as an effective remedy for sore throat pain.
